Without ever seeing one another, two creatures inhabiting parallel dimensions sense each other’s presence. Through their own languages, they attempt to communicate—probing, sending signals, and reaching out. If they interact, it is through the sounds they create and the movements of their bodies. Though their languages differ, each perceives in the other a stranger who might yet become a friend.
